As a repeat corporate client, Sony’s most recent facility is the second lease space we have designed for Sony Online. As one of the largest Gaming Studios in the world, the design needed to strongly reflect a local corporate culture, staffing flexibility and a facility familiar on an international level to the Sony Corporation and their corporate partner visitors. The space features an ‘all-hands’ area (for company-wide gatherings), a café style lunch room located on perimeter glass, a state-of-the-art theater, sound & recording studios, tackable cork surfaces in all primary corridors and a 1,500 square foot server room & lab area. Sony’s office requirements were programmed with a 15% private office & 85% open office ratio. All private offices are located off the interior core with full glass walls fronting the main corridors allowing the open office areas direct proximity to the building’s perimeter glass.
