We are taking a potential liability (vacant building) on the skyline and turning it into an asset. Hunter Plaza will offer a combination of market-rate and affordable housing that will be indistinguishable in terms of quality. It will be an opportunity for people to live downtown in an affordable way, which is very exciting and progressive, and helps solidify the western side of Downtown. A mixed-use development, in addition to the housing, there will be retail at street level, and we have helped solve some of the parking problems of the neighborhood. With the adaptive re-use of the neighboring Tandy Center, the connection to Sundance Square to our project will be strong, enhancing the walkability of Downtown Fort Worth.
