Developers have filed building permits for another building in Dallas’ Victory Park project.

Hillwood Urban plans to construct the 15-story office building on Victory Avenue across from American Airlines Center.

The office project of more than 300,000 square feet has been in the works since last year.

Hillwood recently filed more than $100 million in building permits for the project, which will total about 800,000 square feet including the parking garage.

A formal announcement of the development and the groundbreaking are expected this summer.

Hillwood’s building is one of a handful of new office projects gearing up in the area just north of downtown Dallas. With the most recent round of new Uptown office buildings almost fully leased, developers are scrambling to get more product ou of the ground.

Hillwood’s Victory Park building site is the largest vacant tract left in the 75-acre mixed-use development. It’s part of a more than 8-acre site that can accommodate additional construction.

Started 20 years ago, Victory Park now has more than 3,000 residential units, more than 600,000 square feet of offices and 225,000 square feet of retail on the northwest edge of downtown.
