Dallas Morning News: New NetScout office campus kicks off in Allen

High-tech firm NetScout Systems Inc. is breaking ground this week on its new Allen office campus, shifting its regional operations to Allen and will lease all of a new office building off North Central Expressway.
The Massachusetts-based firm is relocating its regional office and research facility from Plano to a 145,000-square-foot office building to be developed in the Watters Creek project near Bethany Drive west of North Central Expressway.
Almost 500 people will be working in the new One Bethany at Watters Creek building to be constructed by Kaizen Development Partners.
The building will open late next year.
NetScout execs and Allen officials will be on hand for a formal construction start on the project Wednesday morning.
The 3-story office complex will include an outdoor courtyard, fitness center and cafeteria and parking garage. BOKA Powell designed the building.
NetScout’s move is the largest such recent corporate shift to Allen, which is seeing a new boom in development.
