The second phase of student housing completed for Texas A&M Kingsville expands on-campus housing capacity by 298 beds in two and four-bedroom configurations. A covered pavilion provides space for events, and a Great Room offers a full kitchen and bar top area attached to a warm, inviting space for students to socialize and study in comfortable lounge seating. Architectural details highlight the campus’ Mission style, with decorative including decorative clay tile, heavy timber and dramatic lighting fixtures. Each unit features a kitchenette equipped with an under counter refrigerator and a microwave. Study rooms and laundry facilities are provided on each floor. A third phase of student housing has been designed and is awaiting approval to move forward. The adjacent dining facility offers flexible food service options, casual seating and a presentation/multi-purpose space on the upper floor.
