Lubbock, Texas/22,000 square feet
In response to significant increases in enrollment, Texas Tech University engaged BOKA Powell and design-builder Austin Commercial to construct a new $45 million, 516-bed residence hall and dining complex. Completed in July 2012, the buildings are designed to harmonize with the unique Spanish Renaissance architectural style of Texas Tech. The two-story, 22,000 square foot dining hall includes a range of cuisine options offered on both levels. Natural light and a variety of seating options make the space a joy for students, faculty and staff to utilize for dining, studying, and gathering.
