The Peabody Hotel and Conference Center in Roanoke Texas is a new development by The Peabody Hotel Group in Memphis. The property’s target market is the business traveler and small to medium size conference planners. The design concept is refined, rustic elegance to blend with Roanoke’s unique dining experience on Oak Street. The hotel will consist of a 14-story building with a maximum of 300 keys and nearly 40,000 square feet of conference center on a 3.269 acre site across from the new Roanoke City Hall site. The conference center will extend outside the main hotel room tower. A parking garage with a minimum of 400 parking spaces will also be part of the development. Key attributes of the hotel include a spa, fitness center, outdoor rooftop pool/bar, lobby bar similar to Memphis, steakhouse and three-meal full service restaurant and a small business center. The roof top will feature a pool deck, bar, party terrace and the Duck Palace, similar to the Memphis Hotel.
