As a senior project architect with over 25 years of experience, Dan Gruber is dedicated to generating and communicating strong design intent through engagement with clients, users, colleagues, and municipalities. His architectural expertise includes a focus on ecology and technology and stems from varied encounters with architectural and natural wonders. From the mountains of Colorado to the historic colonnades of the University of Virginia, down to the cultural island of Austin, Texas, all roads have directed him toward thoughtful design. Before joining BOKA Powell in 2022, Dan spent several years as a project architect at Mell Lawrence Architects, an award-winning design firm focusing on residential and light-commercial projects. When not at BOKA Powell, Dan also enjoys teaching design and residential drafting at Austin Community College. He has dedicated himself to teaching for the past 14 years and views it as an opportunity to share knowledge and gain novel insights from students.
