Hotel Born

Denver, Colorado

BOKA Powell was chosen to work with Denver-based SempleBrown to craft a 12-story mixed-use tower in the Union Station area of downtown Denver. The transitoriented development directly connects with the Denver Regional Transportation District (RTD) light rail system via an iconic arc-shaped platform designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, LLP (SOM). A 200-key full-service luxury hotel occupies a third of the tower on levels four through twelve, with five floors of boutique office space running beside in a twin mass rising alongside and connected via a sky bridge on the third floor. Three restaurants serve the hotel on the first level, while meeting rooms, ballrooms and a boardroom provide congress space on the second level. A fitness center, meeting rooms, and back of house are located on the third level. Roof decks on the second floor and along floors 3-5 office tower overlook the bustling Union Station development. The entire mixed-use block sits atop two levels of below-grade structured parking to support each use.
