Trellix

Plano, Texas

Trellix is a newly created, $2 billion cybersecurity company that launched during the COVID-19 pandemic. An ownership change resulted in a broken office portfolio where 5,000+ global employees were left without their historical, yet very outdated offices. Trellix engaged BOKA Powell to design their first and largest office (thus far) as a new company in Plano, Texas. At the time BOKA Powell was hired, Trellix had not decided upon a name; consequently, focusing rather on the design and programming aspects of their space. Their mission, was How to get people back in the office? With that in mind, BOKA Powell created a popular “Resi-mercial” industry trend concept— complete with a variety of lounge and meeting settings and people’s personal workspaces. The schematic plan incorporates the company’s brand and color palette along with warm and inviting design elements. By using wood, soft seating, and saturated color tones throughout the project, employees have a choice of where they want to work and feel most comfortable.
