The Thompson family, founders of the 7-Eleven convenience-store chain, engaged BOKA Powell to create a new office building for their family foundation. The building takes advantage of its location along the Dallas North Tollway, perching a roof deck above the occupied office levels that will offer dramatic views of the Dallas skyline. The four-story structure fits within its transitional neighborhood context, which includes both single-family homes and large-scale apartment buildings. Ground-floor retail offers opportunities for community engagement. Parking is provided on the first floor beneath the building and in an adjacent surface parking lot.
