NoKA Chocolate

Dallas, Texas

NoKA Chocolate's exterior facade takes a design cue from its timeless stainless-steel box. The three elements are glass, stainless steel, and black chrome. The 500-square-foot interior is a catalyst for experiencing the chocolate, described as pure, tasteful, and luxurious.

The palette is inspired from the cacao tree and the many colors of its pods and flowers. The use of stone and wood evoke the memory of the Matterhorn and of the cacao bean. The textures of the materials celebrate the relationship of the rough fissures of the cacao bean and the silkiness of the Encore Chocolate Collection.

In this space the chocolate is the focus. This is not a predictable retail solution. This is a space to honor the magic of the chocolatier.

BOKA Powell provided Architect of Record services in association with Shimoda Design Group for this Dallas AIA Honor Award-winning project.
