Bob Borson, FAIA, is an award-winning principal architect at BOKA Powell, recognized for his strong communication skills and wide-ranging design experience. A graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, he serves on the UTSOA Advisory Council and was named “Young Architect of the Year” by the American Institute of Architects in 2009. Licensed in Texas and Wyoming and a member of NCARB, Bob’s portfolio spans corporate, hospitality, mixed-use, student housing, and single-family residential projects. He frequently serves as a design juror and speaker, addressing topics from design leadership to firm management. Since 2010, he has authored “Life of an Architect,” one of the world’s most widely read architecture blogs, recognized by the Texas Society of Architects with the Award for Excellence in the Promotion of Architecture.
