Michelle Vandermeulen is an experienced interior designer focusing on workplace, commercial office, and hospitality. Michelle combines her skills for workplace strategy, experience designing complex clinical environments, and personal passion for sustainability shaping interior spaces from beginning of concept design through completion. Michelle applies her pragmatic approach to programing and space planning to logically accommodate the program, sharing options with user groups to ensure departmental preferences and firm-wide standards mesh. In addition to shaping interior spaces, Michelle is instrumental in selecting and specifying finishes, fixtures, furniture, and equipment, paying special attention to the drivers affecting client decision-making within the context of the overall design direction. Her passion is being detail oriented as well as a strong advocate for working in 3D from the beginning to help clients visualize the space immediately.
