Saumyabrata Roy

Project Designer
Saumyabrata Roy is an award-winning architectural designer. Born in Bangladesh he finished his Bachelor of Architecture from BUET, Bangladesh, and completed his Master of Architecture from Miami University with distinction. "Roy," as he is known by many, has worked in Bangladesh, Japan, India, Hong Kong, and several major cities in the United States. His expertise includes workplace design, core and shell development, corporate master planning, mixed-use development, and multifamily. Roy is also an architectural design critic and juror for several university and international design competitions. Some of his notable recognitions include Edward Allen Medal, Gensler Diversity Finalist, Rudolph Frankel Memorial Award, and the Berger Award for Architecture. Roy looks to find excellence in architecture. He's committed to challenging the norm of conventional practice and pushing design to its limits.
